When requesting a refill of a current prescription, please call your pharmacy first. If no refills are available, please ask your pharmacist to contact us. If at all possible, ask your pharmacist to e-prescribe the refill request. This reduces the chance for error and greatly speeds up the process. Please allow one full working day for any medication refill. After business hours, the on-call physician will not refill medications. Some medications (ADD, ADHD, and certain narcotics, for example) need additional processing and may take additional time. An office visit may be required for some prescriptions due to FDA regulations or the need to monitor for toxicity and/or side effects.
